Programme Committee (Opleidingscommissie – OC)
Mercurius believes in the importance of education and acts on behalf of all Communication Science students. In the Programme Committee, students and lecturers discuss various essential elements regarding the improvement of the course. The committee advises other bodies, such as the Educational Institute. Should you have any remarks on the course of its programme, you can turn to the Faculty Student Council or the Programme Committee.

Faculty Student Council (FSC)
The Faculty Student Council is the democratically chosen body for students. If you want to discuss the state of affairs at the UvA, or talk about education in general, the Student Council is the place to be. The FSC consists of a maximum of 12 students from different courses, which are chosen in Spring. More information.

Central Student Council (CSC)
The Central Student Council is the supreme body for students within the UvA. The CSC meets with the Executive Board and represents all UvA students. The Central Works Council (COR), that consists of (chosen) UvA employees an important partner as well. The COR and CSC together form the Joint Meeting (GV). The GV has a vote in certain matters, such as the appointment of the University President. More information.
